We welcome you to this tiny hamlet of 19th century homes tucked around Sunset Lake and the famous "floating bridge", located in the heart of Central Vermont.

For over ten years, we've enjoyed welcoming guests to our home, which is listed as part of the National Historic District known as Pond Village. Our informal atmosphere, furnished with family furniture and cherished antiques, suggests comfort and we encourage relaxation. Our porch, with views of the garden, brook and the lake, invites renewal. It's a delightful spot for doing nothing—absolutely nothing at all.

However, if you are looking for activities, there's lots to do: biking, canoeing, fishing, hiking, swimming and cross-country skiing. More sports are available not far from here: golf, tennis, horseback riding and alpine skiing.

The convenience and charm of a "Bountiful Breakfast Buffet", complimentary to our guests, starts the day between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. and is served in the family dining room. Afternoon "tea" is also served each day.

We are an international inn, having welcomed guests from Japan, England, Germany, France, South Africa, Australia, and Greece, and Greek is spoken here. Our doors are open to travelers from every part of the world wishing to experience the charm of this wonderful corner of Vermont!
